Meet Your Coach
Tirzah Kennedy
I became a NASM certified personal trainer in 2018 and
have since obtained certifications in fitness nutrition,
RockPods and RockFloss, and as an NCSF strength
coach. I am also a student physical therapist assistant.
Since entering the fitness industry, I’ve worked at gyms
as a personal trainer and fitness manager, worked
within a physical therapy facility and a functional
medicine office, and launched my own personal training
business. I’ve coached a variety of clients, mostly for
corrective exercise after an injury, pre and postpartum,
weight loss, and strength building. Personally, I have
trained in multiple different fields in fitness, and I’ve
loved it all. One of my greatest joys is being able to try
something new and challenge my mind and body in
various ways.
Health, wellness, and fitness have been at the forefront of my life since a very young age. Around the age of 10, I started to experience different pains - knee pain, chronic migraines, and abdominal pain. Over the years, those minor pains became injuries that prevented me from doing much of what I loved. When I began to lift weights as a young teen, my lack of knowledge and proper form led to more muscle and joint pain. Although I never got answers, I discovered my passion for fitness, and exercise became my stress relief. The trial and error I underwent to rehabilitate myself spurred me to pursue increased knowledge of health and fitness. As I educated myself, I found ways to improve my life and came to understand the importance of a holistic health approach for everyone.
I strive to create an environment that will promote amelioration in physical fitness, as well as happiness, energy levels, mental sharpness, and so much more. Optimal physical fitness and wellness is about more than exercise and nutrition. Holistic health is about balancing sleep, exercise, food and water intake, hormones, and stress. My mission is to improve physical and mental strength by examining all aspects of health and to ensure that everyone has the tools needed to function at 100% everyday.
